It is hard to believe the end of the school year is here! We have had an exceptional year here at CAV Nation! This also provides the opportunity to reflect and celebrate all the achievements in the classroom, activities, and athletics. Our staff worked extremely hard to prepare our students to be successful and have a memorable year.
We have to stay focused and finish strong the next couple of weeks. Our CAP Saturday Program continues to be offered for those students that need additional assistance to do well in their classes. Tutoring is available as well in many subject areas. Please check with your teachers or Counselor for more information on these programs.
Our spring athletic teams are competing hard and most will make the playoffs. Please follow us on Twitter @MontclairCavs to stay up to date on games and results.
We will also be administering the Advanced Placement Exams May 2 – May 13. Please see the posted exam schedule.
Our finals schedule is also posted on this site. Please see schedule as we will have minimum days the last three days of school.
Our Graduation will be on Wednesday, May 18th, at 6:30 PM in our beautiful football stadium. Please come early and watch the incredible Class of 2016 go through their graduation ceremony.
Summer schedule is Monday, May 23rd – Thursday June 30th. Hours will be from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. Please see posted summer school schedule.
I am so proud of our students and staff for their incredible efforts to make Montclair High School a special place. Of course, we couldn’t do this without the support of our parents and community. Thank you once again.

Summer Internships Available!
Montclair High School is excited to announce the inception of our CAV Academy for the 2016-2017 school year. Our goal is to increase student achievement by offering more individualized help from teachers and peers and by helping students build social relationships at school through extra time that will be built in within the school day! The Academy Schedule involves four components: CAV Core, CAV SSR, CAV Tutorial, and CAV Enrichment. Students will be placed into one of these four areas during Academy time. Course adjustments will take place every 9-weeks.
